I am doing a theme based on the original of Jorge's which is clean, but in the interim, it worked quite well with one I had not started the disk on because it is a fairly compact theme.

With traditional disk drive in same theme in vertical (non-multi)

It's also interesting where some of the bitmap text is placed. Personally, I found that the most frequent way for many scenarios to guarantee it is static and does not resize, and stays exactly where you put it, is in the overlay.

E.G... I redid this. It works for most things :)

I know
Didn't you say a Fan theme which it is, was OK?
If not, please say so. :)

Honestly Jorge, it is one of the very few games I play, because my children dragged me in from the first one on Playstation when they were very little. They are in their 30s now and me - Meh - I still play it and have Shadows and actually, all of them.
I only ever made it for myself. I have no issues in not making it Public either :)
If you are concerned I will leave it out.

EDIT:
- I just went into the gallery because I do not want anyone to get in trouble even if by accidents that can be avoided to remove it, and it looks like either I never uploaded it or you removed it. Either way, it does not hurt to keep one for myself :)

I fluked something in this.
Traced outline of disk drive and applied neon texture.
Then applied a glow which initially I was concerned would overlay some critical areas it shouldn't - it did.
So now, when the disk LED flashes, so does the neon.
It's far from perfect but it gives the illusion of how a neon light actually works.
Screen captured rings mid-flashing, yes, it does it on both ring and DD icon.

The core disk module edited slightly as well as a vertical version which does not come with it - this is before I completely change the background to match the theme.

Done with one drive and two so the custom flashing LED difference can be seen.
Cheers

decided to refurbish them - looks better in the Neon Transit theme too for me.
The Led kinda looks like a glass LED though it's not that evident in the screenshots.

Full scr with rings - the green LED only 'flashes' with disk activity :) It is not static.

The disk drive ONLY in this form will not be going online.
If anyone saw the WB orchestral series that was funny they'll get the joke, but the copyright prevents me from including even though they were rendered because the cartoon characters they were modelled on are not mine to publicly use for distribution.

The Orchestral and the dd & ring theme minus the looney overlays will be uploaded. I created 2x versions of the disks :)
