I think you mean "Hide the Windows Taskbar", and that is not enabled by default after installing Nexus. It is disabled by default, so Nexus does not automatically hide the Windows taskbar unless you deliberately enable that setting.



If what you want is to customize the icons of those items, here is the MUCH FASTER and MUCH SIMPLER way: open a folder with a collection of your icon images (ICO, PNG, TIF or WEBP format are all supported). Now drag the image file into the shortcut in the dock - it should start blinking indicating that it will accept that image as the new icon for that shortcut. Now drop and Bob’s your uncle. Just a quick drag & drop succession from now on and you will have customized all the icons in your dock in no time flat.
