Shelf position does not stay on dekstop

The profiles confirm the monitor temporarily appeared as 1024×768 at 96 DPI this morning. That explains the miniature docks before Windows reported the proper configuration and they moved into place.

Before the Shelves had a chance to return to their normal positions, did you click anywhere on either Shelf or dock - even just on an icon or tab?

No, i saw the docks flying to their normal position. And the shelves are stil in the wrong position and format. (I waited for your instructions)

The first click I made was on a dock to open the preferences window so i could reach the profiles folder.

Shall I move the shelves now to my default position?

Yes, please move and resize the Shelves back to their normal positions now. I already have the profile files I needed. Thanks for waiting and for confirming the exact sequence of events.
