using version 11.6 extreme

1. can not change clock to digital only analog available

2. when using any pc game in full screen mode the docks and modules loose their positions even though i have saved there position this is frustrating as i have to keep unlocking them and re-positioning them after game play.

3. email checker does not see google mail accounts i have all correct info in box but also having issue with pop as well at the mnoment, does this support imap.

excellant program so far apart from these issues that is, I hope these can be resolved, when issues resolve this is undoubtably the best dock i have seen to date the amount of utilities it has is amazing. really good job well done.
thanks for any help you could give.
Regards
Darren

1) The default clock module is analog. To change it to digital go to:
Dock preferences > Content > Modules: > Clock > Select the digital clock icon on the right.

2) loosing position might be a game bug, some applications/games don't properly change resolution and things get messed up when restoring resolution. A possible solution would be to use your desktop resolution for the game so there will be no resolution change and things should stay where you put them.

3) I don't know how to help you with this...

1. Darren, I think you mean you can't change the *desktop version* of the clock module to digital?

Unlike in-shelf and in-dock modules, the skin, shape and format used for the Desktop Modules is decided by whomever makes the theme.

2. What T3STY said. Desktop modules are programmed to 'remember' their previous positions on screen resolution changes, so that shouldn't happen.

3. Gmail accounts require SSL v3/TLS encryption support, which unfortunately is not provided by the Email Checker module. The Winstep Email module did offer SSL v2 support, but that encryption format was deemed insecure in early 2010 and was thus dropped by all email providers. As a result, from v11.5 onwards, the Email Checker module no longer provides the SSL option.

First of all thank you both for a fast responce very much appreciated.

1. yes Jorge you are correct i want digital on desktop module, thank you have now got digital after selecting differant theme nice on that cleared that up :)need to check if able

2. as for loosing position after game play, T3STY my game usually is my desktop resolution and it happens with all games i play ie most played are Steam not that makes a differance as it happens with all games, and i aggree with Jorge as it is clear that the saving of possition has a bug with full screen game play at least on my machine, I hope this can be resolved as it is quite a pain, Jorge if you find out any thing about this issue, if you would be so good as to post it here or email that would be gratefully appreciated.

3. email checker Jorge are winstep planning to include SSL v3/TLS support in the future, this would be really good as that function is one of the most used by me and is at the top of my list of needs with a desktop application that currently no one can seem to offer which i find crazy as it is such a hand app.
I read somewhere that i can add pop on my google mail account allowing you to use the email checker with it,but not sure if that is a good idea as i do not want to jeopardize email security for the sake of an email checker even though my account says pop is enabled i only use imap. whats your thoughts on this?
many thanks to the both of you for your help.

regards
darren

Jorge has said before, implementing SSL v3/TLS support is going to be quite a bit of work as opposed to SSL v2. So it'd likely take a long while before he gets around to implementing it, if he even decides to do so.

my machine has this problem too.
and when I repositioned the dock, I noticed that
in the list of monitors (in the nexus' screen position list)
the way the monitors are numbered is different from the graphics card driver's
sequence, where my main desktop get the first number.

So the problem is that winstep put the dock on the 'first' monitor after I close the game, - as it's though to be the main monitor, but it isn't.

The monitors are numbered differently because Windows numbers the monitors in the order that the physical devices were added, while Nexus, starting with v11.5, numbers the monitors in a positional logical way, i.e.; left to right (so in a three monitor system with an horizontal configuration, monitor 1 will be the leftmost monitor and monitor 3 the rightmost).

If Nexus ended up changing monitors is because your game changed screen resolution without telling Windows this was a temporary change - this made the dock move automatically so as not to be 'off-screen' (in relation to the lower screen resolution that your game changed to).
