I have a new laptop coming. Is there a way to export or save the dock and load it onto my new computer when it arrives?

One more question - is there a way to get the atomic clock icon to open up a program or web url (like google calender or something)?

Open Nexus Preferences, go to the Advanced tab, click the Backup button to export your current settings into a file.

Once Nexus has been installed on your laptop, do the same but this time click the Restore button to import the settings.
