Moscow, Russia April 1st 2012 - The Nemo.ru group behind all the latest cracks of Winstep software has filed a 'Cease and Desist' order with the New York supreme court against Winstep Software Technologies.

The group argues that Winstep's prolific update schedule and constant changes to the software protection code interfere with their ability to provide quality cracks to the general population.

The group is suing for an unspecified amount and have requested the court to order Winstep Software Technologies to disclose any and all changes to the anti-piracy protection code well in advance of release.

Vladimir мудак, head of the Nemo.ru group, recently stated in a press interview that "It is not fair for Winstep to interfere with our ability to make money from them. Winstep also damages our reputation in the popular warez channel when they manage to out-smart us (which doesn't happen often, but really hurts our feelings - and our bottom line - when it does happen)".

Another member of Nemo.ru, speaking under the condition that he would remain anonymous, replied to the above comment with the following:

"Of course you will never hear Winstep Software Technologies officially admitting to this, but the truth is that Nemo.ru provide a great service to the general public. They are heroes of the people, the Robin Hoods of our time! They steal from the rich (actually, they'll steal from anyone, rich or poor, but that is just a technicality) to give to the poor *and* to the rich. This is true democracy!"

"In exchange for nothing but a couple of zero-day Zeus trojan bank key-logging botnets installed in your system from time to time, you get to run for free a new version that some idiot spent the last five months working 16 hours per day on. You have to admit, that's smart of them: the key to wealth these days is not how much time you spend doing honest work, but how much you are able to profit from the work of others (the schmucks who actually work hard for a living)."

When contacted by our press office, the Winstep 'schmuck' referenced above declined to offer a comment.

jorge i've been to nemo.ru and i never mentioned them because they don't make a point of hiding the fact that they crack winstep. i figured i would just be reporting something to you, you already knew. i personally do not see this holding any water other than maybe in russia. i think i can speek for at least the members here to say we are behind you on this. if there is anything i can do to help please let me know.
