Shelf + tv tuner:
I can't get see see any TV picture in my tuner (DVBViewer) if shelf is on. Instead I just see a black screen in TV tuner (sounds work). No problem with other parts of Winstep. I can see TV picture and after I close the shelf and restart the tuner. I have had same kind of issues with some desktop widgets. Any way to make the shelf work? Or can I set a shortcut to start/close the shelf? Hiding it doesn't help.

NextStart and modules:
I use the Winstep taskbar as a wide sidebar with full sized modules in it and centered task buttons. If I hide the taskbar and make it visible again the modules disappear and the buttons of open programs lose centering setting and drop down. Taskbar returns to normal when I go to Workshelf preferences and click ok. Also if I use restart -command to restart my computer the modules escape from the taskbar to desktop when Windows starts again. Again going to workshelf preferences and clicking ok makes them go back. Any way to make the taskbar work properly?

NextStart:
If I have one program open and I close it, the taskbar button stays visible, goes little lower and behind the taskbar. My taskbar is transparent and I can still see it. If I hide the taskbar the button is clearly visible (but doesn't work anymore).

I'm using the latest version of Winstep Xtreme, Win XP SP3 and ATI Radeon 4550 hd with the latest drivers.

It's probably one of two things:

1) Winstep Xtreme uses a special feature provided by Windows to display thumbnails of the actual windows in docks. However, some applications may not behave properly with this function, resulting in screen artifacts or in the application not displaying properly. With the problem application running, open WorkShelf Preferences, go to the Tasks tab, click the Advanced button, click the Thumbnail Exclusion list, click the Add button, select the problematic application from the panel at the left, click Ok.

2) WinDVD 7 and Roxyo Player 2.0 do not display video when Winstep Xtreme is running. Your TV Tuner application could be suffering from the same issue. This is a problem with the players themselves, not with Winstep Xtreme. You will have the same problem if you run any application that uses layered windows to obtain per pixel alpha transparency. Windows Media Player, PowerDVD and Ulead Player (and certainly most others) do not have this problem, for instance. To fix the problem, you must disable the video overlay mode in Advanced Options and restart the player/tuner.

I'll have to look into this.

You mean this only happens when you have a single application open? What if you open two different applications and then close them both, does the same thing happen?

Disabling the video overlay mode did the trick and it now works. Sweet. Thanks!

It happens only with the last remaining application so for that example only the latter one does this. Button actually first goes little lower and remains top of taskbar but below the module. It goes behind the taskbar when I click it, but remains somewhat visible due transparency of taskbar.
