I have mine set to the maximum (I think 2000?) for Nexus Dock since ideally I want to turn edge bump off, but couldn't find the option to. I normally want the dock to be on top at all times except during full screen applications, where I want it hidden. I prefer being able to bring the dock back manually via hotkey (which is possible now in 12.2) for the applications that don't behave well when the mouse bumps against the edge.

go to workshelf preference /docks & shelves /nexus - dock / behavior / advance

I've already been there. Which setting fixes this? I have the following unchecked:

"Popup dock when the mouse pointer bumps screen edge"
"Popup dock on mouse over"

Yet if I have the dock completely hidden and drag my mouse towards the bottom of the screen, the dock will reappear after a short delay.

from the wording i would of thought these settings would do just that.

Assuming you are running the latest version, if you set an alternate activation method for the dock in Dock Properties -> Behavior -> Activation, the new activation method should override the default edge bump method.
