Hi for some reason th program has gone funny on me every time i try to use the start menu or a shelf or anything it asks me to register the software and i click to go to folder and it takes me to the wskey i click it and it just goes back to the register screen... please tell me im just doing something stupid i don't have another copy of my wskey due to some wrongly deleted emails.....

since you are looking at a wskey for xtreme i'm going to assume you've been using winstep for a few years or you have a older version, cause the new key format is xtreme.key.

That sounds like Xtreme is not registered and the trial period ran out. Can you post a screenshot of the contents of your Winstep Licenses folder (Registration tab in Preferences, click Open Folder button)?
