Lately Nexus frequently freezed with high cpu hogging after waking up of Win7 x64. I must kill it and load it manually.

try restarting, let everything load, then open task manager, processes tab, then click on memory. see what is eating the most memory. also since you are running 64 bit 7 are you running more than 4 gigs of memory?

any of the following for task manager:

ctrl,shift and, esc

open run type taskmgr

open a command prompt type taskmgr

I'd used taskmgr to see who's hogging cpu which is Nexus. That's why I killed it and loaded it manually. I've 4GB memory only.

can we have a screenshot of your task manager? also you might consider doing boot logging to see what is actually hooking nexus and causing it to eat your memory.

Are you sure you are using the latest version of Nexus (v12.2)? There was a problem with much older versions and the multi-media timer, which made it fire constantly to make up for lost time after sleep, but that has been fixed ages ago.

What happens if you let Nexus hog your CPU for some time? Does it eventually return to normal?
