I deleted the Nexus control icon by accident, is there any way to get it back?

Several, in fact: right click any icon in the dock -> Insert New Dock Item -> Show dock control icon.

OR

Open Nexus Preferences, go to the Contents or Appearance tab, unselect 'Hide dock control icon' setting.
