Some of you might be wondering why the public betas expire at a certain date (also called 'time bomb'), forcing you to download a new version, even when you are a legit registered Winstep Xtreme user.

The main reason is simple and based on something that happened to Microsoft, with Exchange 4.0, back in 1994. You can read about it in Larry Osterman's WebLog.

Needless to say, the final version of Winstep Xtreme will NOT have a time bomb.
