I installed Winstep 12.2 and my computer got unplugged two days later after I installed Winstep and my system battery for the clock is low and it setted my date back to 2003 and it said
"You have been using this program for 365 day(s).

This application is part of the Winstep Xtreme suite of applications.

Winstep Xtreme is shareware. You may try it for a period of 30 days, after which you must either purchase Winstep Xtreme or completely remove it from your system.

Your purchase of Winstep Xtreme entitles you to one year of free updates for all components of the suite - including any new components that might be released in the mean time - with optional one year renewals costing only a fraction of the original purchase price.

If you install an update after your one-year subscription has elapsed, you can renew online by clicking the 'Renew' link that will appear on this tab.

Once your order for Winstep Xtreme has been processed, you will be sent a license key within the next 48 hours. Please contact Winstep support if you don't receive your key within this time frame.

Thank you for trying Winstep Xtreme!

Winstep Software Technologies"
And is there a fix for this. And I have tried reinstalling the application and it just doesn't work,

there is a rare problem with windows that will rollback your system that far that has nothing to do with winstep.

I hope you kept the registration key.

I had a similar problem some time back. Power went dead and on boot it would always go to setup until I saved present configurations, and the system would come up with 2003 as the date.

So my suggestion is to go to setup (before Windows starts) and set the date in the BIOS. Then save. It should work like a charm.

Please let us know if this helped.
