Dock forces edge bumping and ignoring Z despite settings

Despite these settings plus Z-layering set to "Always below other windows", it still wants to show up whenever I move my mouse to my taskbar. If the activation is set to (None), shouldn't that disable edge bump activation?

I switch to something like IRC from my taskbar, and go to click the text input field in that when the dock decides pop up and go NO CLICK ME. For the time being I just made it only activate on bottom-right corner, but the (None) setting lies.

Windows 7 Home Premium x64, Nexus 12.2.

Great product, came from Rocketdock and your folder implementation is so much less hacky and unstable than its stack docklets.

When you click on Advanced (posted in the screenshot) what is checked?

Are the first two checked? (Popup dock when the mouse pointer...) and (Popup dock on mouse over)?

If they are, uncheck them and see what happens. BTW, after any change you make, you should always exit the Winstep program and reenter to make sure the settings take effect.
