Hi everyone!

I have a very annoying problem with the autohide option and I think it's something related to my Windows install (perhaps someone can point me in the right direction). I have Windows 7 SP1 64 bits running Nexus with the auto hide option enabled, the funny thing is when I go to full screen with any application, game, whatever the Nexus dock freeezes on my screen and I have to go to preferences, press the button "apply" and then go to normal behaviour (auto hide after few ms).

Anyone have a clue? my video card is a nvidia GT440 with the latest drivers.

Best regards!

Francisco

Quite frankly, I've seen the same "problem" on an entirely different computer (AMD Radeon graphics card) and on the other hand, it's not happening on this computer that I'm using now with an nVidia card; both with very similar settings.
Of course, I'm using Winstep and not Nexus, but the two are virtually identical.
As to what's causing it... I'm afraid I don't know. Might have something to do with the Z-order, in other words the "keep above/below other windows" setting. I have a "feeling" that, when the setting is "always below", which would mean keeping the dock/shelf under everything but the desktop itself, full-screen applications confuse either Nexus itself or the Windows Display Manager and it ends up as "above" -- something like a double-negative or perhaps an overflow wrapping around.
However, I've only seen it with specific programmes; for example, it does occur when maximising an HTML5 video on Waterfox (64-bit build of Firefox) but not with Media Player Classic.
Unfortunately, so far I haven't been able (or been bothered enough) to find a setting that works.
