Z-Order of dock and Windows taskbar

So I have to say right off that this was a very infuriating thread to read:

Primarily because of the way you talked down to your user and possibly paying customer for no reason at all.

I have been using Winstep Nexus' free version for many years now, and I've installed and used it on not one, not two, not even three, but 4 different Windows installs (1 on a Windows 7 laptop and 3 on Windows 10 desktops). Every single time I have used the free version on desktop I have set it up to be on my second monitor, above my taskbar (always on top) and auto-hide. It has never once had an issue with Z-order, until the day I decided to buy the full version. Now I constantly have to battle with it falling behind the taskbar, a problem I didn't experience for years with different installations of the free version.

I don't honestly expect help from you because it seems from other threads I've peeked into that you just kind of shut people down instead of trying to solve problems with the application, I just want to point out that the way you treat customers and users is really not cool and you can't expect everyone to want to use your application identically to you, many people use it overlapping the taskbar, it's worked for me for years in the free version, so you shouldn't instantly shoot down someone's question, because they might still be in the time frame to get a refund on your products.

There is absolutely nothing in the above thread that could 'infuriate' or offend anyone in the slightest. Jorge - the sole owner/coder of Winstep - was as always totally professional, polite and to the point in his posts, despite the many demands always made upon his time. The answer to your own problem is probably within that same thread.

On the whole, your post smacks of trolling but for now I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt.

LMFAO! Yeah dude, I created a profile on this obscure forum for an obscure application, typed out a multi-paragraph post referencing other posts on the site and going into detail about a specific issue, "as a troll".
