 Post subject: Stupid question #1355: How to deactivate WS but not Nexus?

I'd like to make WorkShelf go away and not use the screen any more, but I definitely want to keep Nexus alive. Is there a way to do this without killing Workshelf entirely?

There are no options that I can find to "hide" WS permanently.

I've been thinking about deleting all the default shelves, then making WS float, then reduce it to a 1x1 icon or hotspot, but I'm not sure if there's an easier way to accomplish this.

Any ideas? Am I being stupid and missing the bleeding obvious? (That should be on my CV : Expert at missing bleeding obvious. :oops:

There is no real 'Hide WorkShelf' option because so much depends on the actual shelf to work... Since it seems to be a popular request, I might implement it for next release. In the mean time, you can read the following thread:
