I'm trying to understand where the images of the yellow folders in the dock come from. All these folders were changed to blue using Windows, and in addition, in imageres.dll, the folders are displayed normally (blue) everywhere, but the old yellow ones appear in the dock from somewhere. How to fix ? I will be grateful for the advice

It depends on a lot of factors (icon size, etc) but the yellow folder icon seems to be taken from ImageRes.dll via SHGetFileInfo using a folder path as an argument and then using the returned resource file path to extract the specified resource from ImageRes.dll using the LoadImage API call.
