Hi. I have a couple of questions about work:
1) How to periodically disable the autorun of the browser that opens the page https://www.winstep.net / ?

2) There is a file in the root - "wodTelnetDLX.dll ". Its name uses "Telnet" - what does it collect? What information about the user?

3) Sometimes a process is started in the task manager "WsxService.exe "What is it for? What is he doing?

First of all, what are you running? The free version of Nexus, Nexus Ultimate or Winstep Xtreme? Where did you download it from?

Does it open to the root of the website or to another page in the website?

It does not collect information. It is a 3rd party DLL used for connections that require SSL/HTTPS encryption.

It should not 'start sometimes', WsxService.exe is a service that should be always running (and uses no resources when idle).

This service is used to perform all actions that require admin privileges (such as installing a new font when you install a new theme, synchronizing the time with the Internet Atomic time servers, etc...). If the service is disabled or not running then the Winstep application will be unable to perform any of the actions that require admin privileges.

Unfortunately, I have to use the hacked version. I live in Russia and I can't buy it =((
I already asked on the forum if there is any way, but there is none. As soon this I can buy, I'll do it right away. If you know any way, tell me, please.

Now I'm using Winstep Nexus Ultimate 18.12.

And that is exactly why you are being directed to that particular page on the website - the application knows you are using a "hacked" version and is trying to convince you to go legit.

Sad state of affairs our leaders sometimes get us into - let us pray peace will end up prevailing and that the current situation does not devolve into something much, much, worse.

When has peace ever prevailed? Alas, in this case my glass is half empty - the human race has never learned from past experience, the dumb-ass barstewards. Something much, much worse awaits, I'm afraid. Oh what a lovely (speak, 'short') war awaits us all - mercifully, it'll be over very quickly, with the extinction of all life. Lucky are those that die instantly. The rest will linger on a little, poor sods... :(

To quote an exchange from cult classic Babylon 5 :

Sheridan : "How will it end?"

Kosh : "In fire."
