License Usage Question

I renewed my license on Aug. 30, 2024; Making it expire on Aug. 30, 2025. Ultimate v25.7
was released on July 29, 2025. But I did not notice this update until today Sept. 14.

My question is this: Can I still use my license with v.25.7, since it was released in July, or has my license for this version expired since I just now activated it in Sept.?

I know I can go back to a previous version. That is not the issue. I just want to know about this timing.

And since we are on the topic of timing. Is there a Winstep page for downloading previous versions? (I tried to find one, but was unsuccessful.) Sorry, if this one has been covered before. :oops:

What matters is the date of release of the new version (which is embedded in the executable), and that in this case was July 29. Since your license key is good for versions released until August 30 2025, it will still work with v25.7 (but not with the upcoming v25.9).

Yes there is, link is on the right side panel of the website's Support tab (Older Versions).
