Every now and again, we see posts by new users that have no bearing on the topic under which they are posted, and often they are entirely nonsensical. Where a post really makes no sense, it is always deleted. I suspect these are spammers trying to test the ground.

It really would be far better to have new users placed in the 'New Users' group and require that their first five posts be approved by a moderator or admin before becoming available in forum. Thereafter they are moved into the general 'Users' group. This is available as a default option but can only be activated by an admin - i.e., Jorge. This would instantly eliminate all nonsense posts and most spam as well.
