I don't quite know how, but I was trying to edit the "Quit" menu and added a "Log out" item (and then I realized it was already there). Somehow, when I did this, it caused the start menu to only show the quit menu and no other items (in other words, when I click on the start button, the Quit menu pops up instead of the whole start menu including the Quit menu). I'm not sure how I did this or how I can fix it. Help?

Also, does NexStart support the "Switch User" function?

Thanks.

Hmmm... hope you didn't actually delete the main NextSTART menu - if you did, by far the easiest solution is to recover from the backup of the default conditions that NextSTART makes when it runs for the first time (Global Preferences tab -> Restore).

In the Menu Editor tab, use the menu name combo box to see if your NextSTART menu still exists. Make sure there are no menus with the same name. Then open the Hotspots tab and make sure the correct menu is associated to hotspot 0.

NextSTART and WorkShelf support 'Fast User Switching' via an Internal Command with the same name.

I don't think I deleted anything, and I remember seeing the NextStart menu in the Menu tab, but I'll check both of these things when I get home. Thanks.

I think I have it figured out--apparently, I changed the default menu on the hotspots tab to Quit. I changed it back to NextStart and the regular menu came up when I clicked on the Start button. Thanks for the advice.
