I purchased Winstep Nexus dock on Thursday, April 18th and I have yet to receive a email to activate my paid product. Says to post in forums if you don't receive email within 48 hours.

this is in no way surprising at all. all you can do for now is simply hope and wait to see if your key is sent.

All companies I have bought software online from a majority of them had it sent within 2 hours and the rest within 24 hours. Kind of ridiculous you have to wait 48 hours and still not receive the key. Should of looked into this company more before I went with Nexus if I knew I was going to have problems with them.

I got at the beginning of this week the renewal key for Xtreme and it went fine. The delay may be due to the fact that Winstep does not deal with the actual payments. That is made be a separate company called BMT Micro, Inc. If you got a receipt from them, you should be in the clear. Of course any delay from one of the parties puts you in the uncomfortable position of having to wait a bit.

Let us know.

So your total wait time for renewal key was 3 days?

It was over the weekend give or take a day. I may check my records if you like but I'd say I made the payment late night Thursday and got the key Monday or Tuesday.

If it helps, the software works fine on a trial basis. Unless you are not sure if the payment was processed correctly (or have doubts of this sort) you can start setting it up, try themes and docks to your liking and then with the key, make the registration. I've been using the paid Xtreme for more than a year and before that I used the free version of Nexus for many months. As a general rule using a trial for an extended period to the point you are willing to pay for the whole package, gives you a good notion of what you are buying, and how neatly it fits into your work habits.

If a few more days go by and you don't get the key then something will have to be sorted out. My payment went through PayPal. I got two receipts, from BMT Micro and from PayPal. A few days later the key arrived. This should have been at around the same time you made your purchase, so indeed you should have received your key by now.

Let us know.
