Is there any way to show/activate a Nexus dock from a Windows shortcut? I couldn't find any command line parameters to the program. Instead of bumping a corner or setting up hot keys, I'd like to open the dock by clicking on a shortcut. I know this probably sounds odd, but I always accidentally open the dock when I configure it to bump a corner, and the hotkeys require CTRL, ALT, or some combination. If I could just use a Function key without CTRL, ALT, etc, that would be OK. Otherwise, I'd like to create a Windows shortcut to open the dock. Is there any way to do that?

Without being 100% certain... I don't think so.
However, I do believe you can create a desktop "hotspot" for that.

About keyboard shortcuts, you have to use a combination with Control or Alternate, simply because that shortcut will be universal, which would mean that you wouldn't be able to use that key for anything else.
If, for example, you were to use the "F1" key, then you wouldn't be able to get help for any programme, because F1 would always bring up the dock.
Using what are known as 'modifier' keys, like Control or Alternate or Shift, is simply to make sure that you can choose some key combination that is not used by anything else.

Thanks for the reply. I don't see how to create a hotspot in Nexus. I can choose one (left corner, etc.), but can't create a custom hotspot. If it's possible and you know how, let me know.

I only use about 4 of my function keys, so I'd gladly give up one to open the dock. Unfortunately the program doesn't give me that option. That would be a nice enhancement for a future release.
