No, it's not a bug in Nexus Ultimate or Xtreme.

The real reason is that you're running a cracked (pirated) copy of the software.

Now go purchase the software from HERE so you can run it with a clear conscience as Winstep intended it to be run: without stupid bugs caused by third party hacks.
