Hi,

New user here I'm trying to remove if possible, the icons that precede the entries in Nextstart menus. I've had a look in the menu editor, read through the FAQ's provided and did a search here in the forum but don't see a way to have the icons not show?

I remember years ago using Stardock's RightClick program and recall it was possible to do this.

Maybe this isn't possible, thank you for any help.

Whether menus show icons or not is defined at the skin level.

So, in a way it is possible, but since skinning settings are no longer part of the GUI, you would have to edit that skin's configuration files directly - either that or wait a bit more for the upcoming Winstep Theme Builder.

Oh I see, well I had a look through the .ini file for the skin I'm using and couldn't really figure a way to remove the icons so for now I've assigned a blank image to the entries properties and that's fine.

That theme builder looks a great idea albeit a lot of work with what is probably a diminishing interest in desktop customizing, I know for me at least the default Windows 10 UI is so dull and full of white pages that I'm certainly interested in customizing.
