what is the story with this thread? every time i come to this thread i get the following warning from eset. i don't get that message for any other thread here, or any other site.

Yes, the force is strong with me. I should have known that a long time ago when I met Carrie Fisher at one of my first jobs as a boxboy at a grocery store. That meeting was classic!

As far as Win8, I've heard mainly not-so-good things about it. I'll be happy with my Win7 for now.

P.S. Jorge is a very patient and understanding person. As long as you promise to be nice, you won't be persona non grata.

She didn't seem to be doing so well until after our encounter at the store.

Are you talking about the sound for WorkShelf? If it is, it sounds similar to the door opening and closing on the original Star Trek TV series.

Ah ha, so you revived her..?
The sound I thought might be an l/sabre was the dock(?) (magnifying icons) opening sound (there's so many terms in this suite..).
The closing sound may be more like the twelfth one here:

phred, since you have to give a smarta%% answer i have to figure you are guilty of doing something to the thread to cause the behavior. as i said it is only this thread here on this forum, and no where else on this forum or any where else on the net does it happen. as for my signature of course it's psychotic. that's a no brainer cause after all he is the main character of the chucky movies.
