Exactly what do you mean by 'when I past file to the desktop Explorer hides'?

I think I may get it. We're having some language issue here. 8) Try this on for size: "When I paste a file [i.e., drag a file or shortcut] to the desktop Explorer hides [the file or shortcut]." IOW, maybe he has it set to hide desktop icons. When something is dragged there, it then appears to disappear.

Is that it, Pawel?

I like that one.

The problem is that if you look at the video, Nexus doesn't even appear (there's that word again, hehe) to be running. That thing (whatever it is) that pops up in the middle of the screen sure isn't Nexus.

He's obviously using other Windows customization stuff in there, and it's anybody's guess how that interferes with each other.

nexus is on, is activated Auto-hide ...

It is certainly cause these problems - if the nexus is off, everything is OK.

Do you have Nexus set to hide desktop icons (Nexus Preferences -> General tab)?

As Jorge said, it's in the Preferences dialog, General tab. It's under Miscellaneous Options, the third option...after Show NextSTART icon in the system tray.

No, he is right, he can't see it because he is running the free 11.2 version of Nexus and I only added that to v11.5.

Interesting...I'm still running the free version of 11.2. Waiting for a few free dollars to register. Oh...I'm running WinStep Xtreme. Is that the difference?

Rereading that, I realized I probably ought to clarify. Not "free" as in someone just walks up and gives it to me. "Free" as in not already committed to other things like keeping the lights on and the family fed!

The option "Hide Windows taskbar" is off.

P.S
I think different language is the cause of our little misunderstanding:)

With the new version of the Nexus (or reconfiguring) - I do not know:) - I worked it out with the first problem.

Unfortunately, the Windows taskbar still disappears when I paste some files on my desktop

Sorry, I really have no idea on what could be causing that.

Has anyone else reading this ever suffer from the same problem?
