Chuck, if you enable and use the built-in Winstep Update Manager it will take care of everything for you: it will tell you when a new version is available and it will also warn you if you need to renew first in order to use it.

Since at the time there were on average 3 updates per year (e.g.; roughly 4 months apart), I used that fact to set the cut off date of v14.11 to 4 months after the v12.2 release.

The cut off date of the next update will be 4 months after the cut off date of v14.11, and after that things will go back to normal. I do expect the next update to be a major update with lots of new features, evidently, so that everyone is happy.
