I have tried locking my Desktop Modules, yet it seems that their positions can change under the following scenario:

1. I rebooted my machine, and my GeForce8800 got confused and forced my desktop onto one monitor, with the other one turned off.
2. WinStep Xtreme loaded, and WorkShelf shoved all my Desktop modules that were spread out on my 2nd monitor onto my 1st monitor, lying onto of each, and locked there!
3. After i fixed the dual monitor settings with Windows and rebooted, WinStep Xtreme "remembered" the overlapped screwed up positions of my Desktop Modules and I was forced to unlock, move, and relock them.

Is there any way of insuring that module positions are remembered when I want them to be? I tried Export/Import, but that didn't change anything.

Backup and Restore should do the trick, but everything is affected by this, including the content of docks and shelves.

I think you'll be glad to know that the new beta, which will probably be released tonight, remembers module positions when you switch themes and provides a mechanism to manualy save and retrieve module positions. :D
