I recently started using Nexus Ultimate with a dual-monitor setup on Windows 11. I've placed the Shelf on my second monitor, but sometimes when I maximize a window, it overlaps the Shelf instead of stopping at its edge — even though I’ve enabled “Reserve screen space” in the settings.

Is there a way to make sure the Shelf always reserves space properly on a secondary monitor, even after reconnecting displays or changing scaling?

First make sure all monitors have the same DPI/scaling (this requirement will be lifted in the next release).

Second, add a "Reset Reserved Screen Space" internal command to one of your docks (Right click -> Insert New Dock Item -> Internal Command -> Desktop -> Reset Reserved Screen Space). Whenever you notice a maximized window is overlapping the shelf when it should not, run that internal command, this should restore the reserved screen areas.

Also, are you already running v25.2 ?

Final question: does this always happen when reconnecting displays or changing scaling (do you change scaling often? Why, if you don't mind me asking?)
