I just Okay'd the Nexus Ultimate update to 25.07. As a result the clock changed. I can no longer read the analog clock because the hour and minute (and second) hands are too short. After another software update scream, I figured out how to change the clock from analog to digital. I still can't read the am/pm label. Why'd the analog clock hands become smaller/shorter. I'm older and can't read the darned think. Increasing the size isn't a pleasant option because it disturbs other viewable items. :-(

I understand exactly how you feel. Like I (and I'm sure thousands if not millions of other Samsung smartphone users) felt when Samsung (or Google, not sure) decided to change the battery percentage in One UI from nice round fat numbers to something nobody over 40 can understand much less read.

I did not make the clock hands smaller, I just made them use bitmaps instead of the hands being drawn, so it looks a lot better. Never occurred to me someone might have trouble seeing the time now, so sorry about that.

Since scaling the module up is not the solution, perhaps the alternate digital clock style (the one that does not have the calendar) would help? Select Digital style, then open the clock module settings. Look for the digital clock image and next to it enable "Show time only". See if that helps.

If you already tried that, a suggestion is to use 24 hour clock format, that way you do not need AM/PM.

Yet another option is to try and apply different themes to the clock (select analog style, right click the clock -> Themes). See if one of the themes has big fat clock hands.

I tried the theme suggestion and that worked okay. Not as good as previously but workable. I couldn't figure out the digital setting for 24 hours but really don't want to go there as I have to convert all afternoon and evening times. The world seems to hate older people, at least technology does. :-(
