Just trying out the software and I really like it, but I want to see more of the tasklist and less of the quick launch sections. Is there a way to resize them horizontally? I'd like to see all of my running tasks, I don't like having to scroll to see them. I'd rather scroll through all my quick launch items.

Unfortunately you cannot limit the size of the Quick Launch area. Here are some ideas on what you can do, however:

1 - Resize the taskbar so it is two tasklist rows high.
2 - Right click on unnecessary Quick Launch items and select 'Remove from Quick Launch' from the context menu.
3 - Prevent the tasklist from showing your Quick Launch items (NextSTART Preferences -> Startbar Preferences -> Sections) and access them via a menu associated to a hotspot button or the shelf instead.
4 - Create a new empty dock, drag & drop all your Quick Launch items into it, and then disable the Quick Launch section from appearing on your taskbar.
