Jorge, I have updated to version 8.11 and have been using it constantly since its release. Up to now it seems rock solid stable, i.e. I haven't had any problems at all on my system. And my system is a very heavily configued five monitor job.

So I thought it was about time someone thanked you for an excellent piece of software, worth every penny of its price and a credit to your programming ability.

Any further news on the new options interface ?.

p.s I also purchased stardock objectdock and windowblinds, these have been uninstalled in favour of your superior software.

Great news about the new interface, I look forward to its release.

I was compelled to pen my original post last night, after reading through a forum elsewhere. In which, one of the posters, could not understand why Winstep extreme is not distributed as freeware. He even posted that he didn't care if you starved as long as he got his software free.

Does he work for free ?, If I find and use a piece of software, which is finely crafted, works as expected and makes me more productive, I expect and am willing to pay for it.

There are many excellent freeware items available, but by what right should we expect anyone to spend their valuable time to further develop a piece of software or issue bug fixes, if he or she is not rewarded in some way for doing so.

Winstep has excellent support and is updated constantly, keep up the good work.

Regards
