I just received a forum inbox message from someone names James Cutter. I just want to make sure this is not a phising message. The message is below.

Dear, Dallasguy!

Spam sending from your computer was detected.
We highly recommend you to check your computer and perform online virus check at our site immediately: http://remove-malware.servebbs.org/onli ... /Dallasguy
If you do not pass this test we will have to delete your account and forward a complaint to your ISP with attached log file (your IP address, etc.).

Oh, and it states that James is from Forum Administration forums.winstep.net

After doing a google search, it seems that the site auto-installs something nasty when visited.

I also recieved the same message and WOT warned me fron going to the site so I didn't. But I ask the same question

James Cutter is probably some poor soul who had the misfortune of clicking on the link previously and didn't get it blocked. I received the private message as well, thought to myself "spam" based on the topic, and deleted it without opening.

yup .. I got it too .... now deleting the " SPAM " from my inbox ...

Admin .. push the ban button , or sumfink .....
