Hey all,

Has anybody made/seen any cool Winstep Extreme wallpapers? I know there is one in floating around (mostly blue with other colors and block letters) but I was looking for something more subtle (yet cool).

Yeah, yeah, I know, a bit ambiguous. Here is an example of a Stardock one that is great in my opinion. Something like this for Winstep Extreme would rule!

You do know that you can keep WinStep from changing your wallpaper by choosing the "Lock Wallpaper" option in the configuration, right? In other words you can have any wallpaper you want...

Yep....but looking for a cool wall with the Winstep logo on it.

Well Jorge, how about creating a competition and try to market it, and with enough people doing one you could give up to 3 times a reward (for example 3rd place gets a year Winstep Xtreme, second place 2 years and first place gets 3 years plus can gift 1 year to a friend/family member).

You should tie it to number of participants though and reserve the right not to reward it. And probably want to change around the rewards (perhaps 6 months, 18 months, 36 months + 6 months gift to friend/family might be better suited for a smaller competition)


But for that, I'd recommend creating a trailer that showcases Winstep Xtreme, with the new functions implemented and preferable both a light and a dark theme (and also show how easy it is to disable a certain part of Winstep Xtreme...) so people can get inspired by it.
