I'm a new user and love everything so far.... MUCH better than Stardock's Objectdock across the board :wink:

However, well there's always gonna be an 'however' is it possible to turn off the mouseover ballon's but keep it 'just' for the weather module.

I like the fact that the weather module gives a five day forcast in the ballon but I don't like it on other icons etc as I don't need to see any of the information supplied. I know how to turn it off globally but I lose the weather five day forcast.

Also if I double click the weather icon I get the following error message...
============================================================================
Not Found

The requested URL /weather/current/EGRB.html was not found on this server.
============================================================================

I have changed the url as instructed at the top of the forum and in all other respects the module works correctly.

Any help is appreciated.

Crap. With the v11.2 release that message should have stopped being a 'sticky', but I forgot all about it.

Please make sure the METAR Source URL is set to:

http://weather.noaa.gov/mgetmetar.php?cccc=%1

What is your location and the METAR and Weather.com codes for it?

Thanks for your quick reply Jorge...

These are the location settings:

Country: United Kingdom
City: London Weather Centre
METAR Code: EGRB
Weather.com Code: UKXX0085

These are the Advanced settings:
METAR Source URL: http://weather.noaa.gov/mgetmetar.php?cccc=%1
METAR HTML Search String : <P>The observation is:</P>
Weather.com XML Source URL : http://xoap.weather.com/weather/local/%1?cc&dayf=%2&link=xoap&prod=xoap&unit=%3&par=%4&key=%5

Does this help?

Regards Ken

Sorry Ken, was looking back on messages and noticed I had missed replying to yours. EGRB is the correct ICAO/METAR code for the London Weather Center, but, for some reason unknown to me, it's no longer returning valid data from NOOA.

You should remove the code from the METAR Code box, leaving it blank. Current weather information will then be retrieved from Weather.com instead of NOOA via the UKXX0085 code.
