Hey guys

Nice addon except 2 minor details:
how do you make it so after you click on Windows Button the NEXTStart menu would appear instead?

Also how do you implement search box, which is a little box on windows start menu which allows you the opportunity to search for files on your PC or run commands? (Because you kind of tried to stick search and run commands on your little pop - up menu) but having the single box right there is much easier so you can just start typing right away.

I wouldn't mind if I can just use Windows start menu because it's better than your menu, but the great problem for me because it appears on the old positi on my right screen which requires me to rotate my head every time and my neck hurts, so the big reason why I use this addon is to bring all my stuff to centre screen.

Oh and Question number 3 is: if you install 64 bit edition do you have to reinstall it to Program Files if it auto installed in (X86)?

The search box that appears at the bottom-left corner of the start menu in Vista/7 won't be implemented by Jorge at the moment.

And regarding the start menu appearing on the right monitor, IIRC it appears on the primary monitor so have you tried setting the middle monitor as the primary monitor?

As far as I know, Winstep/Nexus doesn't have a 64-bits edition, just a 32-bits edition. So installing it to Program Files (x86) would be the correct location ;)

no there is not a 64 bit version, and for the foreseeable future there will not be one. however the 32 bit winstep applications run great in both 32 and 64 bit windows. as for ease of access to the search function you might want to give the follow a try as a workaround. i would add one note about the search function on the start menu, and that is that it can miss a lot. case in point i'll hit the win flag key to bring up the windows start menu, type say "kill bill" into the search box and have windows tell me nothing found, i click to open the folder i believe the file is in, search from there and it windows will find it. windows search does not like when you are searching too many folders within folders. in other words i either search the folder i believe i put the file in or the drive i believe the file is on instead of trying to search the entire computer.

EDIT:

just extracted the shortcut, dumped it on my downloads drive, and then edited a item on the nextstart menu i was going to remove anyway. works perfect.
