I just noticed that the email module isn't telling me when I have new a email. When I right click on the email module and select "Check Email", I get this message:

I thought I read a post somewhere on this forum, that Hotmail won't let Winstep "check for new emails" (or something similar, I don't remember exactly what it said).

So, is that still the case, or did I just set up the email settings incorrectly?

Yep, the issue is that hotmail requires a secured connection (SSL) using SSLv3 or higher and implementing SSLv3 is reasonably complicated. So for the time being, you can't connect to mail servers that require SSL.
