I have finally figured out the absolute perfect desktop for me and have it set up.

However, I have this thing, I like one theme during the day, and at night when things calm and I relax, a nightly theme.

(Just saying to be saying, a nice contrasting view of a sunset, behind a tree with an empty bench in front of it for the record)

This means I need to change my frame color, it is aero glass. So bright crystal clear during the day, dim glass at night.

To be completely detailed at what I've done, I am using a titled BlueIce, this theme uses mainly bright blue squares for dock icons, not a solid glass bar as per Windows 7 theme. However I've found a trick, when in the w7 xtreme theme, I can switch my docks to BlueIce, it turns to the BlueIce skin, while still using the --color-- of the bright crystal clear glass (Not glass itself), as with the Windows7 Xtreme theme.

Now, where it gets interesting, the shelf is this way too. I have the default StartMenu Hotspot on my desktop as my start button. This hotspot appears to be BlueIce, but with Win7 Xtreme colors.

So... at night I dim down the shade of the colors, turning it black (Which also makes it transparent as before it wasn't glass but now is, anyway ignoring this effect, continuing)

There are 2 problems following which I'll bullet.

1. To dim the docs I have to do each and every dock (About 12, because some of them only have 2 icons, and are small) individually. If I do it theme wide, it takes BlueIce and gives it it's native color, not Windows 7 Xtreme's theme color.

Q1. Is there a way to change all docks' color without changing theme? (Like if there were 2 docks in one theme, and 2 more in another. Change all 4's color but keep them in their separate themes. This is what is causing my issue with the native color coming back. I am using one themes color, and another's skin)

2. The Hotspot I mentioned, it is the default NextStart menu that comes with the installation of Winstep. It is still in it's bright crystal color of Windows 7 Xtreme, and I am clueless as to how I can change --Only-- that specific button/hotspot's colorize color, without having to do it in Nextstart, as I know this will not just return the color, but change the entire theme, as it is doing.

Q2. How do I change the specific hotspots theme/color?

Well, if you think it's hard to explain, it's not easy to understand either.

Can you post screenshots comparing what happens and what you want it to happen so I have a better idea of what you want and what you are doing?
