I have a big problem with the latest version of the Nexus dock, after resuming from hibernation there is only the dock, no icons, I have to mouseover to make them appear. What do you suggest Jorge? Reinstall the previous version or what else could I try?

Hmmmm... Do you have the dock set to auto-hide?

If so, what auto-hide animation are you using? The old, normal, slide animation?

So, what you are telling me is that the dock background shows, it's just the icons that are not visible?

Can you post a screenshot of the problem, please?

Also, does it matter how long your laptop has been in hibernation?

yeah, just no dock icons, any hibernation time does not change the situation. Also I notice a reactivity slowdown of the elements on the dock. I solved right now reinstalling the previous version, now everything work better than before

What is it with people re-installing the previous version instead of helping solve any problems in v12.2, which has a ton of new features?

Ok, be stuck in v11.10 forever, see if I care. lol

I agree with you , but on my pc the 12 worked very badly, and it was pretty much a step backwards compared to version 11. I also tried to reinstall 12 before replacing definitively with the 11, but nothing fortune

There's a new release of v12.2 (your Winstep Update Manager should pick it up within the next 24 hours, otherwise just do a manual check for updates) that fixes some (or all) of the problems. Give it a try, then please let me know.

I was wondering if you can set in view menu from the dock, the folder contents by type, as set in Explorer and not merely by alphabetical order, as dock set by default

Not currently, sorry. Also, keep in mind that browsing the contents of shortcuts to folders in a dock via the right click context menu is already something far out of the scope of a normal dock application, and more in the realm of the NextSTART component of Winstep Xtreme.

update: after a few days of usage of the fixed latest version, everything works fine apart the trash, it is slower in updating full/empty icon and some times emptying it (from dock) the nexus freezes for about ten seconds, then appears normal message to confirm empty the trash, I do ok and everything returns to normal working
