Hi...Im new here so bear with me.I installed the NEXUS dock the other day and then removed it....however I changed my mind after doing some reading on it and reinstalled it...everything worked on first install however now my taskbar wont change and Im not getting the desktop icons i was.

Err... what do you mean by 'my taskbar won't change'?

Open Nexus Preferences, go to the General tab and make sure 'Hide Windows taskbar' and 'Hide desktop icons' are NOT selected.
