 Post subject: Windows 8 and Winstep

Not loving the whole concept of Windows 8 ... I'm wondering how Winstep - or NextStart anyway - will cope with it, what with no Start button etc.??

The NextSTART component of Winstep Xtreme offers a replacement for the taskbar and Windows Start Menu, which, not being dependent on Microsoft code, works as it should even on Windows 8.

Well that's really good to know ... I guess I thought because I press a start button on my Nexus taskbar that it came from Windows. :)

On the free version of Nexus and on Nexus Ultimate it *does* come from Windows.

When running Winstep Xtreme, however, the NextSTART component provides a skinnable taskbar and Start Menu replacement, as I mentioned above.

OK cool, meaning all the taskbar options including Win/Classic start buttons etc. will still be there.
