Jorge,

I have a NS menu called "drives". In this menu are the usual suspects, C:\ D:\ etc... I also have a network drive that I use at work. Sometimes, if I am connected to another network (not the work Lan), and I go to open the "drives" menu, it will take 10-15 seconds to open, presumably it is querying the network drive. Would it be possible to make it so that opening the "drives " menu does not initiate a network query? I would think that the only time NS should try to connect would be the actual drive button was pressed.

Just a thought.

Paul

Problem is that the shell itself probably queries the network drive to get info like which icon to use, etc...
