I am having touble setting the Respect Reserved Space option for Workshelf. It seems it won't respect the reserved space set by NextStart StratBar unless I also check Reserve space for Workshelf too. I would prefer not to reserve space for Workshelf.

It appears that it will work if the Quick launch is set to any size and the task list icon size is NOT set to 32 x 32. That is if the task list is 16 x 16 OR 48 x 48 it works. It does not matter what the quick launch size is set to. This also assumes no Workshelf objects are added to the start bar

Yes, I've also been having similar issues with the 6.11 release where WS doesn't respect the reserved space of the startbar. The size of any icons don't seem to matter.

Oddly enough, NX seems to respect the reserved space but won't actively reserve space of it's own. Silly bugger.

I'm not seeing this here, regardless of the size of the tasklist icons. What is the size of your Windows taskbar, though? What happens when you manually re-size the NextSTART Startbar by dragging the top edge up or down?

Windows start bar is 32 x 32. Running Win XP Pro SP 2

I'm using startbar docked to bottom full width 2560 x 1024 and attempting to dock WS to the bottom right half.WS is manually resized to 50% of the screen width. This is dual Viewsonsic 922VX, monitors but the Matrox 650 makes it look like one seamless monitor. No software detects dual monitors (including NS).

Sizing all components to 16 x 16 and WS docks to bottom no respecting screen space. WS does not respect space, but growing the start bar vertical to any size larger causes WS to attach as requested. you can not manually resize to 32 x 32 usinga any manual method. It snaps to 16 oo 48 or anything bigger. When set to 16 x 16 you must resize to 48 x 48 as the next larger size. Growing it to 48 x 48 then resetting to 32 x 32 but left unlocked nothing changes but you can not resize to 32 x 32

Manually setting Task list to 48 x 48 works fine if you leave quick launch at 48 x 48 or the oitherway around or leaving them both 48 x 48. Startbar must be 32 high to respect screen space. It will not respect space at 16 or 32 high.
