Great release! (6.11). I have found a little odd behavior though... (like most of my past bug reports, you will not like this one... :D )

Randomly, WSX will cause explorer to beep, constantly (the "default beep" sound). Closing WSX causes the beep to go away... but starting it again in the same session of explorer resumes the beep. I have no idea where to look to narrow down a cause.

And now a request. If I have made this already, just ignore me.

Would it be possible to have multiple instances of the email checker up, so I could check my many (3) pop accounts?

I have not seen this issue, but I have seen a different one involving the mouse settings and menu roll up inconsistancies.

I have a Logitech MX 3100 cordless keyboard and mouse kit (Yes our friends Logitech :( )

It is technically a 3 botton mouse with it's center wheel, but has the side scrolling center wheel behavior.

I tried the dafult setting for the "Emulate Middle Click" (Alt - Left mouse click) and it may roll up fine, but, if it does, it stays rolled up, won't roll down and the "shape" of the "rolled up" top area (title section) of the menu graphic goes from "rounded" (the skins normal shape); to squared and off shaded where the original graphic is normal color and shading and the the "squared off section" around the normal skin is slightly lighter.

The only way I seem to be able to recover from it is to close NS and restart it.

It's possible I don't understand the behavior of roll up, but I would have thought it was a "toggle" click once and it rolls up, click again and it rolls down.

I tried to turn off emulation as well and use the middle wheel button and it's the same behavior, assuming it doesn't do what follows.

At the moment - it may or may not roll up and down at all, if it doesn't roll the menu up; instead it is opening the NS config menu.

I suppose in poking around I may have changed something somewhere else that's causing this.

Are some of all these configurable behaviors"locked" for specific themes by the theme's author? Or do all of the NS/WS configuration options "control" the behavior regardless of the specific theme that's applied?

I bet that happens because a taskbar button is flashing and you have the beep function enabled (it's off by default on v6.11 since the beeping was *really* annoying :D ). Open NextSTART Preferences -> Sound and Animation Preferences -> select the 'Disable Tasklist Beeping' option.

You don't need to have multiple instances of the email checker module running since the module is multi-account aware by itself.

Right click on the email module and select 'Email Checker Settings'. In the Mail Accounts section you will see a 'New' button. Just click on it to create a new account entry and specify its settings. The Email Checker will check all the accounts you define in this way. You can also edit each of your accounts settings by using the combo box at the top of this section.

Whenever using multi-accounts in the Email Checker, the information tooltip you get when you mouse over the module will display the results for each of your accounts.

Congratulations! You managed to find the nastiest bug that was left in Xtreme v6.11: the roll up menu function is broken. I had already noticed and fixed it already - the fix will be in the next update. Sorry.

Basically all the options not listed in skinning specific Preference tabs are 'per-user' options. This means the skinner - and the theme - has no say in them.

Just trying to do my part!

Leave it to the noobs poking around trying to learn; we'll definatly "roll" the rocks over and break something or find something that's broken.
