It looks to me as of what you want to do is to hide workshelf (and no, you cannot run the desktop modules and not workshelf). Here's what I'd suggest. Open up the Workshelf preferences panel, and select the foloowing options:

1. Collapse to Frame
2. Start Collapsed
3. Collapse Manually
4. DESELECT both Edge Bump Activation and Mouse Over Activation
5. Set the Collapsed Shelf Transparency to 100%
6. Set the Shelf Base Height to 0

Finally, make sure that you know the keystrokes (I believe the default is Alt-F11) to call up the Workshelf preferences panel, because otherwise, you're not gonna be able to get it back...

BUT, before you do all that, take a little time to learn what Workshelf does. IMHO, Workshelf and NEXUS (the zooming dock component of Winstep) do most of what Objectdock does, and more besides. I have purchased OD, and periodically go back and try it again, but every time, I end up returning to Winstep.

The default hotkey is cntrl-F11.

I agree with burtporter111; I own both WB w/ OD and only use WB to give my windows themes under WsX a more complete look and feel. basically WsX gives me everything I need and is well worth test driving properly; IMHO.

In a dual monitor config it's the bomb - Thanks Jorge for all the hard work!

Have fun !
