Hey. New user here and i like this product a lot (d0h :) ).
Anyway have a problem.
1st one is trivial. At every nexus extreme startup i get a clock (like part of taskbar) in upper left corner which goes away after 2 sec. I use nexus taskbar at the the bottom and only 1 hotspot (0). How to make that clock never appear?

2nd one is a little more serious.
Excel preview in nexus taskbar does work (mouseover excel in tasklist) but when i hover over the preview it shows it only for one window, for others it shows only desktop (see pic).
Also it seems to duplicate windows and let go of one. For example you have 3 unique documents. Probably when you preview it it will duplicate 1 and you'll have 3 docs where 2 are the same. You can switch to the missing document within excel but cant get to it otherwise.

Here is the pic mouse hovering over most right spreadsheet and spreadsheet 1 and 2 beeing duplicated.

Word documents work fine in every way.

1. You mean Winstep Xtreme, not Nexus Xtreme, eheh.

Anyway, that is normal. Some elements in the NextSTART taskbar, such as the task list and the system tray/notification area, are independent of one another and can be set to float on the desktop, for instance.

When Xtreme starts for the first time, it first creates those elements and only then positions them inside the taskbar (or leaves them floating on the screen). Usually this is really fast - the problem is that at startup everyone and their dog are competing for resources and therefore this 'moving' operation takes a little bit longer, enough to be visible.

2. The NextSTART taskbar is an emulation/replacement of the real Windows taskbar, it is not the real thing. Unfortunately, because Microsoft doesn't want 3rd party applications mucking about with the real taskbar, some parts of its inner workings are not exposed.

Office applications use a special API to force MDI windows of the same application into individual taskbar thumbnails - unfortunately this is a 'write only' API, i.e.; there is no documented way to query the Windows taskbar to find out which windows went through this process.

Usually this results in a multiple document Excel spreadsheet displaying a single thumbnail, instead of one thumbnail per each document. Not sure what is going on in there, though. What version of Office is that?

Yeah, its Winstep, my bad :)
Office is 2010.

Worst thing is that it visually replaces a document and to get to it you have to switch in excel.

Also if you turn excel windows to sorted (not grouped) it wont switch to the pressed spreadsheet in tasklist.
