Hi, I'm newly running a registered version of winstep Xtreme 12.2. I'm entitled to download a bonus tilepack. But, nowhere can I find the download link. And I've searched for more than one hour. Im getting very frustrated.

In the email received from Winstep there is a link. Unfortunately, it is non existent (broken) :

I just now clicked on the link you posted and downloaded the .zip file.
Are you sure there's nothing wrong with your connection, firewall and/or provider?

Everything is now more than fine.

Except, I Wonder why I did not get the bonus pack thru the link included in my personal email. Still wondering ...

Hm... if it's a webmail service, like Hotmail or Gmail, they usually pad the address with their own weird URL code, so that the target server can know (if they are set up to do that) that the link was accessed through Google (or Microsoft or whatever), so that they get extra brownie points for their advertising prowess.
Needless to say, Google is doing the same thing even with search results; Microsoft probably as well.
In any case, the point is, if you clicked on the link through a web-mail service and for some reason the intermediate re-routing server of theirs was offline or experiencing problems, you would be unable to access the file, since their bloody redirecting servers would never redirect you to the actual file on the (existing and very much active) server you're trying to access.
You know, I really REALLY hate that crap that they pull... and all for their damned "advertising revenue"...
