Hey Guys,

I am new here - just bought my license and will have to wait (impatiently) for the key to arrive.
In the mean time I have ultimate running, but decided to buy Extreme. Can I simply import the backup settings I made into Extreme or will I have to install extreme as a "new" program and setup everything from scratch?

Also - tried to register with this forum using the email address I used to purchase the software but it tells me I need a "real" email address....

I am in now so not too worried about that, still it is a bit strange to get a message like that

i don't know what email addy you were trying but jorge did block gmail accounts at one time. dumb move in my opinion.

as for nexus ultimate i'm assuming it has workshelf. if that's the case i would say yes you can import your backup, cause winstep xtreme that includes nextstart there are two settings backup files. one for nextstart and one for workshrlf/nexus.

It was nicely explained that you can just install over Ultimate and indeed import the backup. Worked great.

As for the email: I got in at least - that is more important. And no, it wasn't gmail, but that would have been my third attempt. I agree gmail is quite popular...
